We’re proud to nominate Mr. Bill Keys, 89 years young, for the Spirit of the Open Award.

For the past 8 years, Mr. Bill has shown up to CrossFit with a level of dedication, consistency, and heart that inspires everyone around him. Week after week, workout after workout, he walks through the doors ready to work, ready to improve, and ready to be part of the community he loves so much.

Mr. Bill embodies what CrossFit is truly about. It’s not about age, speed, or lifting the most weight — it’s about showing up, giving your best, and being part of something bigger than yourself. His work ethic, positive attitude, and determination remind all of us that fitness is a lifelong journey. More than anything, Mr. Bill loves the community, encouragement, and purpose that CrossFit brings to his life.

Not even his defibrillator shocking him during his 26.1 workout could keep this man out of the gym! We all just want to be like Mr. Bill one day. THIS IS CROSSFIT❤️
